In 1986, Judy Jordan founded J Vineyards & Winery in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley with a bold vision. Today, her legacy continues to shape Sonoma wine culture, proving how one visionary winemaker can transform an entire region.
Isabelle Simi
Isabelle Simi took over Simi Winery at just 18 years old and went on to become one of the most influential women in early California wine. She guided the winery through the 1906 earthquake and Prohibition, keeping it alive when many others disappeared.
