Made from Valdiguié, an uncommon grape from southern France. Its light body makes for a good chillable red perfect for the heat wave we're having (at the time of this writing).

The blend is 60% Roussanne, 20% Viognier, and the rest Grenache Blanc and Clairette.

Mar de Frades stands out for its radiant lemon colour with seaweed reflections. Its luminous appearance invites you to perceive aromas of stone fruits, like apricot, medlar fruit, along with almond flowers and subtle tropical salt notes. All the expression of Albariño.

This artisan wine is handcrafted in small lots. Grenache grapes are harvested and gently crushed. Ripe red berry, cantaloupe, and rose petal notes make this wine perfect for any occasion.

Elizabeth Kester started her journey to becoming a winemaker by earning a B.S. in Wine and Viticulture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2009.

This wine comes from two growing regions within Santa Barbara County, both of which are influenced by unique soil types and proximity to the Pacific Ocean.
