Moccagatta Chardonnay
2017, Piedmont, Italy
The Buschet vineyard, where the Chardonnay grape comes from, is located immediately below the Nebbiolo, in the Barbaresco amphitheater where the winery is located. The warmer exposure to the west allows for good structure and concentration, and after fermentation and a year of aging in barriques, a full-bodied and complex wine of excellent longevity is obtained.
